Track record

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

At Tabs I built the creator program and the paid engine next to it. Same playbook here: a small roster, clear briefs, one number to protect, losers killed early. The category is different. I have not run food and beverage, so Lelick's team teaches me the claims and I build the system around them.

Why now

  • 4.4 / 5

A rating creators can point to

The page shows 108 reviews. A creator on camera can hold a number Lelick already owns, no invented praise needed.

    Published
  • 20%

    Named deal pages already exist

Deal pages carry up to 20% off and free shipping on 2+ boxes, so a creator-linked offer is already part of how Lelick sells.

    Published
  • $54

Three 30 count boxes, one price

Creamy, Tart and Juicy boxes each sit at $54. Easy to say on camera, easy to compare in a bundle video.

    Published
  • 35%

    Build your own bundle

Mix and match bags and save up to 35% on every order. A built-in format: the bundle-building video.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. One number to protect

Cost per 1,000 views, target $1. The simulator shows $5.74 today, so every brief is built to close that gap, not to chase views.

  2. One variable per test

A video changes the hook or the setting, never both. Seven videos per creator per week gives enough repetitions to read a result.

  3. Losers killed early

A format that stalls is dropped and the winner enters the hook library. Ten creators make 303 videos a month, so there is always something to cut.

  4. Claims sheet first

Every creator gets the sheet before the first brief. Lelick's own wording only: 30 pops per box, individually wrapped, the 4.4 rating. Anything else is a question.

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. DanaMon 8:30 AM

Brief for the week: Spicy Mango Bag 10ct at $19.99. Show the unwrapping in the first second. Seven videos, one variable per test: only the hook changes.

  2. MayaTue 10:15 AM

Can I say it helps with cramps in my Pink Lemonade video?

Not unless the brand signs off first. Stay on the claims sheet: 30 pops per box, individually wrapped and pocket-friendly.

  3. Report botAppMon 9:00 AM

Weekly report posted: cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, the hook that won, the losers killed and the bonus log.

  4. DanaWed 2:40 PM

Draft sent back: the Watermelon pop is out of focus in the first second and the claim line is missing. Reshoot the opening shot in daylight.

  5. Report botAppFri 11:20 AM

Maya's Pink Lemonade video passed 100,000 views, organic only. The $50 flat bonus is logged, the one allowed this month.

  6. DanaThu 9:00 AM

Check on live videos: every caption carries Not intended for children under 4 years and the paid-partnership label. Two are missing, fix today.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Watermelon unwrap

    Brief 01

    Watermelon unwrap

    “Hydration, but make it candy.”

Close-up of one Watermelon pop unwrapped, then a slow first lick. Daylight, phone held steady, no cuts for three seconds.

  2. Flavor roulette

    Brief 02

    Flavor roulette

“Three flavors a box, so I'm trying them all.”

Pick three flavors from the box on camera, taste each, and rank them on the spot. One take, box visible in frame.

  3. Pocket test

    Brief 03

    Pocket test

“Individually wrapped, so it lives in my bag.”

Handheld in a gym or tote bag: drop a Pink Lemonade pop in the pocket, zip up, walk out of frame. Natural light.

  4. Backseat road trip

    Brief 04

    Backseat road trip

“Peace in the backseat starts with a bag.”

Film from the passenger seat, pass pops back, show the quiet. Keep children's faces out of frame.

  5. Post-workout pop

    Brief 05

    Post-workout pop

“Perfect for your next workout, and it's candy.”

Post-workout selfie, pop in hand, one sentence to camera, then show the wrapper. Gym light, product never covered by text.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Individually wrapped and pocket-friendly”, “30 pops per box”, “Overall rating: 4.4 / 5 from 108 reviews.”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Reviewers who already post

The page shows 4.4 / 5 from 108 reviews. One reviewer describes a trip with friends and kids. People like that make the warmest first outreach.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

The site carries named deal pages with up to 20% off and free shipping on 2+ boxes, so creator offers exist. An application page was not found on the site.

  • Gym and run communities

Local fitness creators who film after training. Lelick's own copy points at your next workout, so the fit is plain.

  • Family travel creators

The site has a backseat line for a family car trip. Parents who film road-trip snack kits can show Orange Coconut in context.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Eats on camera

Shows a real first taste, no scripted rave.

  2. 2Clean light and audio

Daylight shots, clear voice, steady phone.

  3. 3Reads the claims sheet

Quotes only approved lines in a test draft.

  4. 4Category fit

Audience in fitness, travel or family life, not alcohol or supplement stacks.

  5. 5Steady cadence

Can post seven videos a week through the six-week ramp.

Part 7 of 15

Who

  • Gym regular

Films after training, pop in hand, keeps it to taste and the wrapper.

Likely product: Watermelon - Bag 10ct

  • Road-trip parent

Backseat videos, pops handed back, children off camera.

Likely product: Orange Coconut - Bag 10ct

  • Flavor ranker

Tries a full box of three flavors and ranks them in one take.

    Likely product: Electrolyte Lollipops

  • Study-session student

A Le Latte pop at the desk; says plainly it carries caffeine.

Likely product: Le Latte - 30 Count Bulk

  • Travel packer

Packs pops for the trip and shows them in the carry-on.

Likely product: Spicy Mango - Bag 10ct

  • Bundle builder

Builds a mix-and-match bundle on screen and shows the saving.

Likely product: Playtime - Bag 10ct

Left off, every time

Always left out: creators who promise health outcomes, who aim videos at children under 4 years, who mix Lelick into alcohol or supplement content, or who post a paid review without disclosure.

    Bundle-building videos

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • Never say it replaces a sports drink

A comparison to another product the site does not make.

  • Never say it is sugar-free

The site lists added sugar per serving, so this contradicts it.

  • Never say it is caffeine-free

The Le Latte flavor carries caffeine, so this contradicts the site.

  • Never say children of any age can have it

The site states an age limit for children.

  • Never say it rehydrates you after being sick

A medical promise the site does not make.

  • Never say it gives a full day of energy

An outcome promise about the body that the site does not make.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • ~11g added sugar per serving

The site shows two different sugar figures; confirm which one creators may quote before it enters a script.

  • Reduces cramping

A health outcome worded on the site by the brand; needs its sign-off before a creator repeats it.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: new creators on a base pay with a low cap while we learn their hook results.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: creators whose Lelick videos hold their views, with a higher base pay and cap.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: proven hooks across several flavors, with the top base pay and cap.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One bonus per creator per month, however many videos pass 100,000 views.
  • The bonus attaches to a single video and pays $50 flat.
  • Organic views only: paid or boosted views never count toward the bonus.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Part 11 of 15

Simulator

At 10 creators and seven videos a week, the simulator lands at $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1 target. It closes if 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Pick the winner

A video that holds its views for a week and passes the claims check moves on. The rest stay organic.

  2. Ask for rights

The creator agrees in writing to paid use of the video before it runs. No video is boosted without it.

  3. Run it as an ad

Same video, one variable changed. Daily CAC is read against the target, losers killed early.

  4. Back to the hook library

Winning hooks return to the library and shape the next week's briefs for all ten creators.

From the video to the checkout

  • Checkout, with free shipping on orders $60 and up.
  • Build your own bundle: three bags of ten lollipops, saving up to 35% on every order.
  • New customers: the first-box offer of 15% off, used only where the site shows it.
  • The Creamy, Tart and Juicy 30 count boxes at $54 each.
  • Retailers: the Faire page shows 50% off a first order, up to $150.

Part 15 of 15

Category rules

Rules for food and beverage creators

Lelick sells candy built around electrolytes. Creators film the candy, the taste and the wrapper. The claims sheet decides everything else.

  • Claims sheet only

Creators quote the approved lines and nothing more. A new claim goes to #claims-questions and waits for an answer before the video is filmed.

  • The age line

Every caption carries Not intended for children under 4 years. Children's faces stay out of frame where possible.

  • Sugar, said plainly

Lelick is never described as sugar-free. The site lists added sugar per serving, and the sheet holds the one figure creators may use.

  • Caffeine named

Le Latte carries caffeine. A creator who films it says so in the video, not only in the caption.

  • Health wording

Hydration or cramp wording appears only as Lelick's own line, attributed to Lelick, and only after the brand signs off on it.

  • Disclosure and bonus

Every paid post carries the platform's paid-partnership label. The $50 bonus counts organic views only and is void if a rule above is broken.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
